the beautiful countryside and warm, friendly people made it an unforgettable experience. the apartment was truly special, with amazing Gaudi-esque tilework on the cave walls. Pepe, the owner, spoke clear Spanish which I understood perfectly. Despite the rain, I still had a lovely visit. the value for money was great and I even rebooked for my return journey north in a couple of weeks.
I would highly recommend this tranquil paradise. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like.

I recently had a New Year's stay at a cave accommodation near a town. the cave itself was comfortable and cosy, with a well-equipped kitchenette that allowed us to cook our own meals. I also enjoyed the outdoor area, which was breezy and perfect for breakfast. the owner was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
One downside of this accommodation was its location. It was a short drive from the nearest town, so having a car was necessary.

The rooms at El Guindas Truly A Little Piece Of Tranquil Paradise are simply amazing! They have a kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator, which is super convenient for making quick snacks. The seating area with a flat-screen TV is so cozy and perfect for relaxing after a long day. And the private bathroom with a shower in each unit makes you feel right at home. I loved every minute of my stay here!
Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the showers in the private bathrooms. But hey, that's just my personal opinion.

I had an amazing stay at El Guindas! The cave accommodation was beautifully reformed and clean, with a cozy log fire that kept me warm. Pepe, the owner, was incredibly helpful and friendly, even taking me to the supermarket for essentials. The location was peaceful and quiet, and I enjoyed the short drive into the beautiful town of Baza where I found supermarkets, restaurants, and bars. The Wi-Fi was impressive too! One thing I really loved about my stay at Cueva El Guindas was the unique and charming decoration throughout the hotel. The whitewashed walls and cozy lounge created a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's general areas to be easily accessible and comfortable, making it a perfect choice for a relaxing vacation.
If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be clearer instructions on using the hotel's facilities. Sometimes, the children working there had difficulty explaining how to operate certain amenities, which could be confusing for older guests.

We stayed at this unique accommodation for our romantic escape and we were blown away by the cave layout. the large double bed was not only comfortable but also had a touch of adventure with a sabre tooth tiger at the end of it. the fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals and make use of the BBQ facilities outside. We also enjoyed the warm welcome from the owner and the delicious breakfast that was served to us outside our cave. the pool and outside area were well-maintained and provided a beautiful setting for relaxation.
We had some difficulty finding the location as it is off the beaten path, but it was definitely worth the journey once we arrived.

The cave accommodation was unique and cozy, providing a different experience for our Christmas holiday. The cool temperature inside the cave was a pleasant surprise, even during the summer heat. The well-maintained cave had a modern feel, with a spacious bathroom adorned with beautiful tiles. The outdoor area was lovely, with a pool and a BBQ where we enjoyed cooking our meals. The location was convenient, being only a short drive away from supermarkets and restaurants. We also appreciated the quiet and peaceful surroundings.
While the location was convenient, the noise from the nearby highway could be a bit bothersome at times. there was a slight inconvenience when we discovered broken glass left behind by the previous residents.
